Key People: Chris Valentine (Supervisor)
Chris serves at the Executive Director of the state of Ohio and his responsibility is to coordinate each showcase event, maintain online data base and to communicate to supervisors. Valentine enjoys giving the athletes better opportunities to getting them to college programs. Chris says the only downfall of his job is being away from his family. Valentine mostly works from his home office but when he is showing face at an event, he is wearing khaki shorts and a collard shirt. Chris also carries out the duties of an associate scout for the Colorado Rockies. A 2008 graduate of The Ohio State University, Chris is a founder of Prep Baseball Report(PBR) Ohio in 2011 and have since gone on to expand the franchise to several other states not only in the mid-west but down south as well. A large part of PBR's evolution into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state we are in is accredited on Chris behalf. Along with PBR, Chris is also a board member for Dublin City Schools. He has garnished a seat since June of 2004 and is still a member of the board today. Chris also runs an elite summer travel baseball program called Bo Jackson Elite that offers teams from ages group of 8 years old to 18 years old. Valentine now holds a new position as the manager of the baseball branch at the Bo Jackson facility in Hilliard Ohio. Chris is very involved in the community and has also coached at elite high school baseball programs.

While at Wright State, he helped the Raiders to a runner-up NCAA regional finish in 2015 as well as a Horizon League Conference Tournament Championship. Prior to his time at Wright State, Chiero was an assistant coach at Otterbein University in Columbus. In his playing days at NCAA Division II Tiffin, Chiero was a four-year letterman, becoming a two-time All-GLIAC selection as a corner infielder. He played professionally shortly after his time at Tiffin, spending one season with the Taos Blizzard of the Pecos League.

Over the years, the Prep Baseball Report has evolved into one of the country’s biggest and most respected independent scouting services, with a singular focus of providing comprehensive coverage in every state we are in. Duncan has been covering and scouting baseball since 1997. He began his career in Central Florida, covering high school baseball and the Florida State League. From there, he moved to Southern California, where he was the Prep/JC Editor at the Daily Breeze in Torrance, and also covered the Dodgers and Angels. Duncan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and also received a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University.

Since then it has grown and evolved into one of our nation's largest independent scouting services, with each state have a singular focus. PBR coverage spans 27 states wide to this day, as well as covering Ontario, Canada. More than 450 professional scouts and college coaches subscribe to Prep Baseball Report services.
